ok so i know that some girls like dumb guys and others like smart guys
but i have a crisis on my hands what kind of guy do girls like most?
im sorta EMO and sorta rock and a little bit of a muscle dude and a punk and sports freak which kind of person should i be?

After taking a 9 month hiatus, I am considering get "back out there." However, I am in my late twenties and it’s definitely harder to meet people than it was in college! I am done dating people at work (which is how I met my two long term boyfriends) and, due to time constrictions, I think online dating may be the best route.

Please only answer if you have a) done online dating and b) had success. I don’t need to hear how "lame" it is. Actually,I think that attitude is highly outdated and I’ve already decided to proceed, so it’s pointless to answer if you have a negative attitude towards this subject.

On a more positive note, any tips are appreciated. Here’s a little about me: Female, 28, college-educated.

Some of my main questions:

1) Okay to e-mail men, or should I wait until they e-mail me?
2) How do I respond to the cheesy "winks"??
3)How long is "too long" to e-mail back and forth before meeting?
4) What to do if they keep e-mailing without asking for my phone number?

I tried Eharmony last year for a 3 month period, and it didn’t go so well. I was matched up with a ton of girls, but outside of one I didn’t really get anywhere with any of them. And the one I did talk to a little bit, just stopped talking to me all of a sudden.

Here’s the story..

I am 22 years old. I have dated many differant guys in many types of situations from friends with benefits, friends to dating, dating to friends, online dating, and I have also crushed on guys and got over it after a little bit when i realized they didn’t like me–but this time is differant..

I met this guy 9 months ago and I knew there was something about him i absolutely loved–not looks–something about his personality his spirit whatever–we talked once after that meeting but i never talked to him again because a the time my heart was NOT open to anyone. We ended up getting together 6 months later–dating or whatever–and then a physical connection sparked up on top of the other connection i felt with him–we fooled around that night–bad i know–i should made him wait–but i couldnt help myself.

A week later i hear from his brother that he really likes me but is NOT open to a relationship and he actually told me this himself as well. SO i put on a front and acted like i didnt care that he didnt want more know. Then it started bothering me that he didnt call–bothering me that he was dating other people-and bothering me that we couldnt spend more time together.

I managed to pull off a 2nd date with him–and more of the same feelings i had–I never discussed my feelings of jealosy or anything–i was just enjoying our time because it was our 2nd time together. but when he left i got so sad that id never see him again–and then i had heard that he got back with his EX of 5 yrs–they had and on/ off unstable relationship–they were defninitly back on and i was def. PISSED. SO, i went OFF on him and -he said i was acting like his GF and I don’t just do this to anyone–i hated that i sounded that desperate and needy but i knew i had to lay out everything on the table–then he said we needed to not talk for while like he was trying to find a way to let me down EASY– i just hung up on him and told him he was crazy for letting go of something we could of had together–
So my healing began–i tried not to think of him but EVERYTHING reminded me of him–and i kept thinking that we are gonna end up back together at a differant place in our life– and i ve been to a psychic been on great dates with others but there he stays in my little head.

VERY RECENTLY, i talked to a mutual friend then one that hooked me and him up–and out of nowhere she mentions to me that they were hanging out and he had brought up the most random OBSCURE thing him and i had in common that he had mentioned–that we both wanted to build and underground home in a backcave—i mean we had planned out everything when we talked about this from the floors the pool with the see thru bottom everything–lol..kinda makes me giggle talkin about it–but she told me it was the weirdest thing shes ever heard–but all i could do was laugh at her and tell her how weird it was that wanted so hard for me not to be around or to have me in his life and he mentions something like this and reminds me that he does stil think of me and that MAYBE he will come back to me–it gives me HOPE—

so AS weird and complicated as this all seems i still feel like we were meant to be and that he just hasnt faced it yet–SOOO

COULD I be right?? WIll he be back in my life in spite of the circumstances??

WE NEVER had SEX–we just Fooled AROUND–so he didnt get what he wanted and he DIDNT want that–not yet. ANd im a VIRGIN I dont just have SEX with everyone–But i dont mind getting physical with someone I feel that connection with—so i did…BUt thats not even the half of it–so any other answers..
