I’ve been dating a Catholic girl now for a while who is very religious, but she won’t tell me the Church’s view on relationships. Because she’s so religious, I want to respect both her and the Church’s views on dating, mainly limits. I already know sex is out of the question, let alone past my limits. Any input would be appreciated.

Her girls are 13 and 17 both maintain straight A’s. These two treat the mom like a slave and are very rude… all the time. The youngest is the worst. I know the problem starts with mom but I need some insight (or place to start) to make it easier for me. I’m a previous serial dater that became so picky however I really see something in this woman. Alright, I just wanted to know what’s the big deal about teens dating each other, I know that some teens end up doing some pretty stupid stuff. However I don’t understand the vendetta against it, it’s like whenever a teen begins to date someone they are considered to be bad kids, not everybody says that, but enough people say it to make me wonder. Honestly, I’ve heard teen girls being called whores because they have boyfriends, it really makes me angry. I mean come on, you all know that as teens you either dated someone, had sex with them, or did something else wrong, so why are you so harsh on your teen, or other people’s teen-aged child. No teens should not have sex, but if they have feelings for somebody why treat them as if their little monsters who can’t be trusted?

I am writing a novel and wanted to know your take on it.
I will show you the story line, and then a page or two from a chapter.

Story line:
There are three girls, Valerie Skylar and Danielle. They used to be best friends in elementary school, and were the most popular girls there! At the end of Seventh grade, two girls named Kira and Avery (two reeally mean girls) told Valerie something really insulting, but Valerie wouldn’t tell Skylar or Danielle what it was.
After freshman year, the three girls started to split up. Danielle was too worried about her appearance, Skylar became a drama geek and is obsessed with becoming a star, and Valerie lost interest in everything that had to do with popularity.
Now, the three girls are sophomores.
Skylar’s new best friends, Madison and Ashlyn, are starting to get on Skylar’s nerves. So, she begins to hang out with Evelyn, the new girl at school who can’t get enough bubble gum. Everyone thinks she’s weird, but SKylar is the only one who can get passed the chomping noise that comes with her friendship. Skylar also met Tory, an 18 year old college student who lives in her apartment building.
Danielle became bffs with Kira and Avery, the two mean girls from Elementary school. She decided that if she wanted to be popular, she needed a posse, and Kira and Avery were perfect for the job. Kira and Avery caught Danielle’s boyfriend, Tommy, kissing the school’s biggest dumb blonde, Elsie Elis, and Danielle can’t wait to get him back.
At soccer practice, Dani meets the cutest boy she’s seen in a while; Brandon! She decides that once she’s done getting Tommy back, there will be plenty of room in her life for a new boy!
When shopping, Skylar sees Kira buying clothes from the clearance isle at a store that Tory works at called Yvonne’s. Yvonne’s doesn’t hold name brand and designer stuff, like Kira normally wore, so Skylar was surprised to see her there. Kira said that her parents made her start buying her own clothes, and that if Danielle found out, she would be toast and deffinently out of the posse.
On Friday, Tommy and Elsie Elis go to dinner at a fancy restaurant, and Danielle, Avery, and Kira quickly follow. They are loaded with eggs, ready to throw them at Tommy’s face. Danielle throws the egg, getting Tommy upset. But just at she gets ready to rub it in Tommy’s face, Brandon pokes Danielle in the back. Danielle freaks out! Why was Brandon at a fancy restaurant by himself? Brandon is angry at Danielle, and says that he would never date a girl who would throw eggs at her bf.
Kira starts hanging with Skylar a bit more, and they eventually become great friends. She, Kira, Evelyn and Tory decide to have a sleepover the same night Danielle and Avery have one at Danielle’s. They decide to Teepee Danielle’s house, just to get her back for being so shallow.

“This would look great on you.” Tory said, holding up a short, pink sundress with a lacy trim. “It brings out your eyes!”
Skylar rolled her eyes, looked at the dress once again, picking out the flaws and erasing them from her memory. She didn’t care how cute it was, when she tried it on in the dressing room she felt good in it. The dress fitted her perfectly, and did not make her look fat. In fact, it made her look thinner.
The dressing rooms at Yvonne’s had been painted only a few months before anyone had noticed Yvonne’s had opened, and Skylar still smelled that new painted-room smell that some people say causes cancer. The walls were vivid blue, almost a retro, neon color, which sometimes made the color of the shirt or dress you were trying on look weirder than it really did. The dressing rooms themselves were uncomfortable. There was barely any room to stand, let alone try on a dress, and nowhere to hang your clothes.
“It brings out her eyes?” Kyra asked, questioningly, looking at Skylar’s eyes. “You wouldn’t know this,” she said, looking at Tory, “but Skylar is known for her big blue eyes at school. Even Danielle envies them.”
Skylar could sense a pinch of guilt in Kyra’s voice, especially as she said “Danielle.”
Before running over to Yvonne’s with Kyra and Tory, Skylar had told Tory about how Kyra had to buy her own clothes from then on. Tory had laughed and said, “It’ll teach her a lesson.” That was Skylar’s take on it, too.
Tory shrugged, resting her arm on a rack of halter tops. “Forget Danielle.” She said, flicking her wrist at Kyra. “You’ve got Skylar now. And besides, she seems like a seriously rude girl.”
Skylar’s eyes widened. “You know Danielle?” She walked next to Tory, astounded at Tory. “You know who she is?”
Tory nodded. “Yeah. A lot of people from my school either know her, or have dated her.” Tory didn’t seem excited or shocked, like Skylar, but calm and as if she had told the story thousand of times.
